Not really man. Just saw your car in the pageant thread and was wondering if that is a carbon fiber hood. Couldnt tell from the pics. Been wondering myself how bad a carbon fiber would stand out on my black GT. CruizinComcepts has that hood in carbon fiber at a good price. Ordering a hood soon. Just gathering info. Beautiful car by the way.

 

far away it just looks like a different shade of black, in person up close you can easily tell. I have on at my school and I personally think its the ugliest thing in the world. Just get a carbon fiber hood thats ready to paint and match the black.

 

It depends if the sun is out or not. When the sun is out it actually fades in and out, but looks pretty much black. On cloudy days its looks a solid sickly greyish color. Overall I like it. Hope that helps.

BTW...I was given a lot of grief when I first got this hood, so I hope you don't care too much about what people think.

 

Wow, I'd think people would have given you a lot of grief about the front bumper cover.
