Default Borlas

My car is decently loud right now with the H/C/I and the Lt's, o/r x and mac exhaust. Its quiet when im cruising and gets just a little noisy when i open up. I love the sound of Borla mufflers. You guys think it'll be way too loud If i put Borla stingers in place of my MAC mufflers. . . Think it'll have not enough backpressure? Borls stingers are single chambers right?

Well according to 2000GT4.6, there is no such thing as backpressure....hahaha I know, I laughed when I read it too. You will have plenty of backpressure as long as you have mufflers. I had a 20 min conversation with the headmechanic of 59 Kingsford car (Nascar) about backpressure today. He said the best thing to do if you want it loud and to keep your performance is to eliminate the cats and keep the mufflers.

Doesnt matter how long people have been here, the bottom line is, if they are giving out false information, you are allowed to correct them. And yes, backpressure plays ENOUGH of arole to consider it in your exhaust setup. Just because people have been here longer doesnt mean you can assume they're right...

Then would you mind explaining backpressure to me? I guess i honestly dont have my facts straight on this.

My exhause is longtubes, offroad X, and i had the slp lm1s for awile. That would be about as no 'backpressure' as you could get and it ran/runs like a monster.

So what exactly would be classified as 'not enough' backpressure?

And yes, there is nothing wrong with correcting someone.. But there is no need to start an arguement for no reason. You are making fun of 2000GT and if he saw that i am sure he would not be happy.
