evo and srt-4
FWD is the SRT4's killer. You can actually get some pretty decent hp numbers out of them, but unless you don't mind rollin' down your window at a stoplight and saying to the car beside you, "hey man, do you mind if we get going some before we punch it," traction will kill.

Well for the people who are flamming me about asking this question. I asked these questions at MF becuase there are alot of knowledgable people on here that know alot about all types of cars. So why go and sign up at another forum when I can just come here and ask the question, Its not like it happen alot. Now back to my questions. I really would prefer a evo IXover the srt-4 but the price differnece makes me look at the srt-4. Does anyone know how much whp these two car are capable of?

my buddy has a stage 3 srt-4 with every bolt on made with a 50 shot for the motor and a 35 shot for the intercooler and makes like 485 at the wheels. He also has a built block with a stroker kit. He runs low 11s.
he spent almost like 10K with everything. installation was a bitch so he started paying for it so thats where the price comes in..He uses M/T slicks on the fronts not sure of size but he still cant hook that well. He is pushing 35psi and at drop off its like 30-32psi. This kid has spent some serious cash.
but ill be honest here, when i was first looking at getting a car....i was considering an srt-4. but luckly for me i couldnt find one around here. i think they look pretty decient, but they are slow no matter what.
on the other hand my friend at the firehouse did have an evo, and it was badass but he traded it in for a toyota tundra and has been regretting it ever since.
both nice cars...just depends on what you like.
