ok so here it is

BADASSstreet car/ not good daily driver: Kenne Bell (oh yeah itd also have to be like the ONLY mod u get or else ull have to buy new rods, pistons, etc

BADASS street car/ good daily driver/ whoop up on almost anycar u come across: Vortech, Procharger
I think even with a twin screw it can be daily driven just as a centri unit...sure it's easier to get into boost, but it doesn't mean the drivability is adverselyaffected. The only problem I have is trying to keep from stomping itto get that grin on my face[8D]
+1 .. usually the guys who say the KB's are not good for daily driving are people who have never driven in one... fact is...If youspend the time and money it takes to put on a supercharger then you aregoing to want to puch it .. period.. regardless of which type you get... soit all depends on how
disciplined you are in driving the car.

It's like any other mod, over time you get used to it and want more.

For a weekend warrior I would go twin screw, for a daily driver I would go centri. Not because either is better suited for any type of driving necesarily, it's just that a centri is easy to keep out of boost if you want to and drives a little better in snow/rain.

+1 definitely steer clear of the saleen kits.
IMO Procharger/Vortech is your best bet for a daily driver. I personally like the fact that I can keep it out of boost if I want to. Especially if there is any amount of rain around. Youcan alsoget them for about $1,000-1500 less than the KB kit.

KBs are the best for street cars. the low end toque is insane. you just dont get that from a centri blower. centri blowers dont build full boost until almost redline will kb builds 8lbs of boost at 2000rpm and 9lbs at 5500 rpm.

this debate will go on until the end of time so all i can tell you is try to ride in one of each. then you'll know for yourself
