Default 99-04 GT difference

I own a Cobra,so I dont reallyknow toomuch about 99-04 GT's... Are there any difference between these years (performance, suspension, etc..)? Do theyall have trac control? Also, what do these cars usually run in stock form, in the 1/8? Sorry for all the questions... Thanks

Major difference is about halfway through the '01 production they switched to the 3650 tranny. Other than the changes are cosmetic -- wheels, badging, hood scoops, etc.
Don't know about the 1/8 mile, but stock they should run low 14's in the 1/4.

only important changes im aware of.. tranny.. the blocks went from windsor to romeo and the water pump design was altered halfway in 2001. beyond that it is all cosmetic. an intake change in 01 i believe made the V6 gain 3 hp from 190. those are all im aware of

my 99 does not have traction control,.....Think maybe it was an option in 99 and sometime in 00 or 01 came standard?
