OK...ENOUGH WITH THE MATH YOU ****IN NERDS!!! <<<And those ARN'T sarcastic faces, THEY'RE NERD FACES!!! [>:]

The K&N will be just as good as the CAI...no noticable power gains, just remove the silencer and it will be louder, thats it. Don't spend your money on a CAI, unless you want something to shine under the hood, and thats it.

Actually your just better off getting a k&n drop in filter..... You will see no more of a noticable gain with a drop-in then you would with a cai... just my $.02
+1
+2
-1

now its back to +1
x 2 +23(8)-5
-------------- = x
13x(836-72)-2+6000

solve for x (i know someone will)
X= -190928.88

What assumptions did you make about the missing operators and peculiar "23(8)"notation? If multiplication your solution does not prove...

omg, wtf is wrong with you kids!!! GGGGGGRRRRRRR!!!!!!!![:@]

now to try to answer:

i went that driection and just got a drop in filter from k&n. i searched around and found that the intake for the mustangs was set up from the factory to act as a cai to begin with. i've even heard stories where replacing the pipes with an aftermarket cai actually hurt power output. so you can try with the whole aftermarket scheme but i believe that if there is any difference than just the drop in it wouldn't be much.

oh, and with the drop in filter you still wont feel any difference. but a difference is there....

(my stangbeing a 95gt, not sure if its the same with the fox 302 but wouldn't see why it would be a huge difference)

-------------- = x
13x(836-72)-2+6000

solve for x (i know someone will)
Assuming that x 2 means x(2) (i.e. x times 2) x can equal both -.6322123169 and .0285071216
If x 2 means x^2 (x squared) x can equal both-.6324659345 and .0284985596
That is of course if that x 2 means one of those two possibilities, but that equation is written out pretty poorly.

But as far as the cai goes, all a cai really does is make the engine bay looka little nicer. For the price of let's say a bbk cai (189.99 at american muscle) you can get a set of frpp gears (179.99 at american muscle). Really not worth it unless you like the way they look.
