Looking for a new midpipe for my 00 gt w/ right now just flowmaster 40 series mufflers.


Has anyone heard that setup or simular setups?

General saying is X pipe with straight through mufflers such as SLP and H pipe with chambered such as Flowmaster.

I have that same setup and i love it. Great sound and the best part about it's is that the pypes x pipe went into place with no hassle. It was a perfect fit.

I have a MAC X-Pipe with some 40 Flows weld-ins.

At first it had a lot of popping at about 2300rpm.....but that all smoothed out a lot over time.

When im in the car is has like as popping/metal rattling sound to it and I was starting to wonder if it souded like crap outside the car........Well last night I had my girlfriend drive the car up the road so I could hear it outside the car.......HOLY **** this thing sounds so MEAN......I absolutly love the sound outseid the car.......the sound I haear inside the car is no where near compareable to the sound it is producing out of the car........

i just ordered my pypes offroad x pipe. im havin it installed tomorrow. cant wait. i too have flowmaster 40 series.

I have that exact x-pipe with magnaflow magnapack straight-through mufflers. The pipe fit in perfect and it sounds great. Once it hits about 3,000 rpm it gets insanely loud. I recommend it for sure.
