My setup is Hooker Super Competition Long Tube Headers, MAC Off Road X, and MAC Cat back (Chambered) and it sounded like sex before the heads, cams, and manifold. Now its just hard to stand up straight near the car when it's idling. . . .

I have the o/r H, but I believe either will sound great with 2 chambered muffler. Prochambers are to pricey

No dude this isnt for me or about me. I like my setup. And a prochamber would really quiet things down with my already chambered mufflers. This is just to see what the majority likes so that new comers can get an idea of whats popular instead of asking the same old questions over and over again. I was in a club with a LOT of mustangs and just as many exhaust setups
This is my honest opinion:

4v's need H pipes
2v's need X pipes

Chambered mufflers need off road pipes
Straight through exhaust systems need catted mid pipes

The three best systems i have ever heard though in all the mustangs i've ever seen were:
- an 03 cobra with an off road MAC H pipe and flowmaster mufflers
- a 99 gt with an off road MAC prochamber mid pipe and borla stinger exhaust
- a 00 gt with an Off road MAC X and MAC Catback

The worst i've ever head:
- an 04 Mach one with a bassani off road X and SLP LM1's
- an 03 cobra with a summit off road X and mufflers just replaced with straight pipe

I think almost all of them could be the 'best' midpipe depending on context. It's such an individual preference thing.
