We get a lot of questions everyday asking which should i get?? An X or an H??

Lets just end this and see what everyone says. Then you newbs can see what the majority likes and go from there. . . . .

 

IMO an X is better on a 2v and an H is better on a 4v. They just sound outa place the other way around.

 

Haha believe it or not i know a guy that just has straight pipes (no cross over) It's an 02 vert that has a mach one conversion (Shaker hood, wheels, chin spoiler, grill delete, etc) and flowmaster 40 weld ins. Sounds very old school muscle car style. Sounds really good though actually. He just put straight pipes from the headers to the cat back.

can't really just say with a poll... X is going to sound better than a H on a straight thru setup, H FTW on a chambered muffler. Not only that, but with emissions laws being different etc etc ...

If I could do it again I would get a Catted-X

 

my setup sounded hot with a catted X and LM2s. i added MAC LTs and shorty catted H, and it's just annoying now.

 

Nanaki - I have the same setup as you... just BBK instead of mac... and I also dont "LOVE"my setup... I really do think it would sound badass with a catted X... Im not gonna tell you to do this, but Im going to.. and if it sounds like it should... im going to let you know, because I also get annoyed by it.
