4.10 Speedo Tooth
So i bought my speedo tooth off ebay to correct my speedo being off cus of the 4.10s i got. My question now is, where does it go? Do i take out the gauge cluster? I know its a dumb question but i dont know hah.
if i were you i would use a speedcal because its way more accurate.
not sure about mustangs, but alot of transmissions have the gear inside the transmission where the speedo cable goes to the gear housing.

i dont think you can use a speed call on 98 unders, thats why they need the ear. i could be wrong tho

"The unit fits 94-04 manual transmission cars and 94-98 automatic transmission cars."

I have a 1997 using a speed cal. If you change out the plastic drive gear #1 you will still be off and that gear will not last very long. (I've already been there and done that) So best bet go with a speed cal. Then if you change gears or tire size just reset the dip switches and your good on the speedo.
