If he beat an 05+ GT then there is definately something done to his car....

Either that or its simply the driver mod.... Its funny that everyone thinks its 'cool' to have a standard but 80% of people cant seem to drive them

In all reality, if there are no visible mods *and you'd think there woudl be several to out run a S197 so easily* there is ZERO way to know if it's not just terrible drivers until he goes to the drag strip and brings back some numbers.

If he pulls off some normal 14.0-14.2's, then we can say everyone he has raced sucked *and unfortunately, that would include yourself*

But if he goes, and runs some crazy 13.5 or something *still wouldnt account for molesting a S197* but it would lead you to believe that SOMETHING actually IS done to his car instead of driver errors.

for a s197 to lose to a new edge... i mean thats a hell of a driver error.. thats missed gear a couple of times and accidentally put it in reverse. he has some motor work or is on the bottle. even a chip wouldnt let him take the new 3 valves alone.

I highly doubt its THAT terrible of a driver error..[8D] but at the same time we havent fully established the New Edge was stock either..

figure your average, to just below average S197 driver can go 13.8's or so, and an EXCELLENT New Edge driver with a hidden mod may be able to do the same sort of time, then throw in the possiblity that the fair to average new gt driver didnt have a perfect run..

its in teh realm of possibility..

but like i said, until there are times shown for this "freak" car, nothing can be said with any type of certainty
