Its not going to blow up unless you either A. try to make much more than 420 whp or B. you have a crappy tuner that doesn't know wtf he is doing.

The more boltons you have, the more power you will make till you get around that 420 WHP mark. LTs, midpipe, and the intake boltons (t/b and plenum) will all increase power levels with a FI car (much more so than n/a even). However, you can take a bone stock car and put a i/c SQ kit @ 10 PSI on it and it will not hurt anything if you have a good tune.

those miles are gettin kinda high[&:]

higher miles = greater chance of blowing

you might want to look into building your engine

ORIGINAL: 2000GT4.6

ORIGINAL: 1fast 99gt

well his car can only handle 400rwhp so to be safe could only run 380rwhp at the most. they s/c might be able to put out those numbers but his car will blow up
ORIGINAL: 01snake

prolly around 400-420ish to the wheels ima guess

thats is with a tune of course
I'm making 420 WHP with no problems on stock shortblock... plenty of people have gone 440+. 450 is about the limit, your safe at or below 420 whp generally (anything can happen).

regardless, 400-420 will be hard to hit without a midpipe and maybe LTs. I would guess a catback only car would make something around 360-370 WHP with a i/c 10 PSI vortech setup.

Your 1/4 mile time will depend on your traction. If you can hita 1.8 or 1.9 your looking at a mid 12, if not high 12s until you get some suspension work/tires.
a friend of mine has a gt with a vortech none intercooled with lt's and flowmaster's (maby a couple little things im forgeting) putting 363rwhp

He's ok as long as the car has been pretty well taken care of and the tune is good. There are 2V's out there with many more miles prior to f/i that do just fine.

AND BTW...
Definitely get a supercharger over heads/cams. The supercharger may be a little more expensive, but you will get tons more gains than with heads/cams.

If you're talking about steeda underdrive pulleys then you probably need to take them off as it will mess with your boost levels and such.
Get 3.73 gears.
I'd say you would be looking at about 370rwhp maybe 390ish.
