Default Break, Bog, or Roll....

This is for those of us that have Slicks in the rear.....

When on the line, you know how you can "roll" your car into the race and quickly pick up speed and not have to worry about bogging....

And when you launch hard enough you get the catipult like effect that throws you forward as your slicks wrinkle up and send you flying......

And when you don't give enough throttle your car trys to take off and it falls on its face then picks back up....


Now, given those three choices... what would yall prefer to do if you already had a bullet proof built rear end..... but stock tranny and driveshaft?


Take into effect that we arn't Code3GT and we don't have his luck of a 3650 handeling over 100 passes on the bucket at full rpm clutch drop 2-step.... lol

You don't want to bog. Slipping the clutch is better than bogging.

Hopefully soon..... Imma talk to Code and see if he can run her a few times for me since he is the more experienced and better racer..... Plus he just has that luck with cars that he makes love to.....


Knowing my luck, I'd be on the line doing my 2-Step launch and *CLANK*..... CRACK CRACK CRACK........ Oh crap..... there goes 1st gear....... and maybe the rest of the tranny....[:@]

Of course you want to nail it and launch yourself violently forward. I've only been to the track a few times and I've yet to find that happy middle ground tht results in such a launch. I ALWAYS either bog or spin.

Bogging just feels soo terrible....... then again..... spinnning violently also does to.....

But I wonder which is more emparrising....

Even when I was spinning with my cheater slicks (because my burnout wasnt big enough) I was still cutting high 1.8's and still took off. You really cant spin bad with slicks.Now the car launches forward and I have to reach forward to grab second gearjust asthat little yellow light to the left yells at my eyes to shift.
