im thinking of getting new cams for my 98 GT. what would be a good set of cams for my car? i don't know much about them. but some of my friends said i should get some. idk. are they worth it, will i get any more power?

VT stage1 N/A cams see good results with NPI, Comp also. I would however do some research on cams w/ future mods. Some Comp cams have PTV clearence issues. Also if you ever decide to do a PI swap it may make the PTV clearence an even bigger issue..

pi is what the 99-04 gts have people put them in there 98 and lower stangs to make them as fast as the 99-04

depends how much you have and what number you are looking to get

the higher the stages for ex. comp cam stage 3 you need bigger injectors, maf, and a higher rpm or it will stall.

where as the comp stage 1's you can run on your engine with no modification

VT. End of story. They're the best. The guy used to work for Comp cams and then decided that he could make em better. . so he did. . they're very reasonably priced and work great! I love mine. . .
