Default auto hard shift...bad?

hey everyone,

i was wondering....with my sct tuner on the 87 performance tune (from ba.ma chips) my 02 gt auto shifts hard....i like it...don't me wrong, but is it bad for the tranny over time? i really don't want to give up the performance i gained with the tuner installed, but if it's gonna mess up my tranny i'll drop the tuner all together.

i drive my gt everyday so i can't afford to have itisht the bed, so should i get rid of it? i'm not very skilled at tuning myself, but maybe i should bump back the 1-2, and 2-3 shift points?

what do you guys think?

thanks

02 gt, 75mm bbk tb and plenum, frpp 4.10's, k&n, MAC catback, sct tuned by ba.ma chips, 17x10.5 ddb's

common especially from 1-2 WOT... make sure you dont shift to WOT from 4th gear (OD) band.... this is a major weak spot in our trannys.. if u race do it with OD off
