ORIGINAL: yelw02GT

nice, i have one myself, instal is kinda self explanitory nothing to it..just take it apart, clean the tranny surface where the shifter and tranny meetreally good with a razor blade, make sure you take the little plastic cup thingy off the ball of the stock shifter and put it on the new one, goop some RTV on the bottom on the shifter or on the tranny surface, make sure you get some around where the bolts go threw, thred the bolts and crank it down, adjust the bumpstops if you want for peice of mind

install was a breeeeze, hardest part was getting the damn dust gasket thing to line back up with the plate. other than that it was simple. if the mgw is the best shifter i can even imagine wat thats like, cause the tri ax is soooooo nice

I don't think there is that big of a difference between the two, but I do want to try the MGW out. You can't go wrong with the tri ax.

If you think that ones nice, you should drive a car with an MGW in it.
