brake problems

Default brake problems

i have the hawk hps brake pads

and the last time at the track i made a couple fo runs prolly 13. lol


and i went down the track and when i went to stop it felt like i was locking them up, BUT i wasent stoping as fast as i shoulda been?

it still kinda feels like that on the street when i drive it also

are my pads gone?

were they immediate consecutive runs?like one after another? I would say serious brake fade, glazing, idk....

Is the pedal hard? That would sound like glazed pads / hardened rotors, but aftermarket pads shouldn't be that sensitive. I don't know anything about your pads, however. Are your rotors blueish like they got really hot? I can't imagine that you were able to runback-to-back runs so close to gether that you could overheat your brakes that badly.

My hawk pads do that after I heat em up, or hit the brakes at high speed, I dont know what it is, but they still work

there was maby a 2-3 minute brake. there was not alot of cars so it was a like a merry-go-round


and yes right when i pushed the brake it was hard
