Can someone point me in the right direction to a site for some information on the difference between the Vortech SQ and S and T trim? And is the difference in these the same as the difference in the Novi 1000 vs. 2000, and for the p-1sc and the d-1sc? Just trying to get some general knowledge about the different trims of supers.

 

The difference between the sq and the s are the way the gears are cut, the sq has helical cut gears which make it quieter, it may be vice versa. I'm not exactly sure about the t trim but I do know that it's a better blower that can spin faster and to alot more psi. The difference b/w the blowers is basically the same the sq and s are basically starter blowers and the t is more of a race blower.
Call vortech and check with them, they are very helpful to me. If that doesn't work then the guys on the MPH board know a ton of stuff about blowers, but don't let them talk you into a kb.

SQ and S are good for up to 16 psi, beyond that go with a T
