I got a set for my birthday last month and just tried installing them. I gave up after, uhh...about step 4 and returned what I had changed to stock and put the light back. Has anyone bought from this guy, and has anyone deciphered the instructions? Granted, the online instructions are a little better than the crappy hard copy he sent, but WOW, I was clueless.

 

You get the plug and play set or the DIY splice set?

 

Its the splice in set. IMO my girlfriend got screwed. She paid $80 for this kit off of Ebay. Its basically the two modules, a wad of wires and a handful of wire nuts, quick splices and zip ties.

 

That sucks. See if you can get her money back? I got the plug and play set and its so worth it.

 

I just emailed the guy asking if I could return the set for credit on a plug n play set, which he also sells. His plug n play sets are like $140, but he gives $30 back if you return him the stock wiring harness. Is this the same ballpark that you paid?

To the seller's credit, he answered my email within what, ten minutes, and didn't hesitate to tell me I could send these back. Very impressive customer service...

 

Yeah I got mine from the same guy. Stupid me didn't send the stock set back in though. Not sure if I can still do that, its been a year+.
