Hey, I'm looking to buy a SPEC stg 3 from a friend of mine for a T-45 application, but when I took a look at it I still had a few questions about it I couldn't answer and neither could he.
Firstly, I always thought the Stage 3's were six puck designs while this disc is a 4 puck design.
Next, the pressure plate looks different than the one that came with my KC clutch. It has a round disc around the edge like you would see on a brake rotor if that makes sense.
Everything else looks good however and the Part Number on the clutch is SF483.

EDIT - found specs website and the p/n checks out, but still doesn't explain the 4 puck clutch disc. I guess it's just an older design or something. I'll just put it in and find out.
I already did that and went to spec clutches. com and it directed me to latemodelrestoration so no help on that. The SF483 should be the model/part number, but I can't find anything on it. Clutch is still in box and wasshipped direct from Star Performance Engineered Clutches, so I don't think its not a SPEC, but maybe did spec use a 4 puck design before switching to a6 puck?

I think you can order 4 puck clutch disks. Check this out: http://www.machperformanceparts.com/mp/SF872-2.html
