ok going to the track for the last time this year...ive been doing pretty good....but heres the question..i always use 93 octane....engine runs amazingly.......would it be ok to use 100 octane race gas for one day or is that
pushing it??!!?

y? are you going to increase the timing? its not going to help you really, actually its probly gonna hurt you a little bit as its gonna burn a hole in your wallet.

if your gona run a bigger shot then you can put some 100+ in it but you probly have a 93 tune so stay with that



what are your times by the way?

If you're not running the nitrous, why aren't you buring 87 (89 at most)? You're just wasting $.

The higher the octane the slower the fuel burns thus decreasing the possiblilty of detonation. It burns slower but hotter so I wouldn't use it unless you have forged pistons. You have to add timing to gain power with it anyway so it's just not worth it if your n/a.
