What the hell is it? Is it better than a custom tune?

 

Even stand alone systems have to be tuned. You can monitor all your sensors, a/f and such from your lap top with a stand alone system as well as tune it. If you don't have extensive mods that call for constantly tweeking the tune and the know how to do it it's really not worth it.
