Default egr code and bank 2 lean code

i have a 01 saleen s281sc...i have an o/r h-pipe with no mil elims. last week it started running bad, it feels like a "miss" somewhere or lack of fuel on a cylinder.

ran codes, got back p0401 EGR failure and a p0174 bank 2 lean

is one of these due to not having my mil elims? i would guess that the egr code is due to the h-pipe and no mil elims but i'm no expert on this stuff.

all i can come up with for the other code is maybe an injector?

looking for some help and suggestions, thanks

The missfire feeling could be the result of a vacuum leak.

P0401 is probably causing the other problem. Take a look at your EGR system first, fix it, then clear the codes. I doubt the P0174 will come back.

There are a number of causes for P0401, they are listed here...

Actually if I had realized it was THAT specific description (insufficient or excess EGR flow) i would've directed him to the DPFE sensor located upper left of the motor as you are facing it. Those switches are notorious for going out and causing one of those two codes (P0401 and P0402).

Check the lines make sure they're not pinched or broken if that's not it, Probably have to replace the DPFE switch for about $35-50 depending on where you pick it up from.
