thats a rip for 80 bux. We have those filters on our bulkoil tanks at work and they cost like 10 bux from our distributor. The rest is just hose. So if I understand, these keep sludge off our valves or something??
And out of your intake. I have one too. 4Vs are notorious for their blue smoke clouds at startup and mine has helped, but not eliminated this....

looks like another project after I get my wheels balanced tomorrow, I love cheap projects, keeps me satisfied, but doesnt break the bank

ok after more research is more confusion. OK, so should I have two catch cans?? One for the DS valve cover that goes to the intake pipeand one forthe PS valve colver that goes to the plenum? Or one that has 2 intake and 2 exhaust and route houses accordingly. Im confused....

...and after more research, I should add the catch can to the one from the pass valve cover to the plenum, correct? Because the air flows into the MAF, then into the line from the intake tube to the DS valve cover, down to the crankcase, up the passenger valve cover, then to the *plenum*, correct???

they are popular on the Ls1 cars, i installed one on mine.... havent ever seen one on a Mustang tho

Its alot more popular on the 4v stuff, espcially FI 4vs.
