Default Nitrous Oxide?

Well I have a stock 2000 mustang gt and I want a cheap power adder. I was thinking about getting some nitrous oxide for it. I had a question though because im not very knowledgeable on it. How safe is it to run a 50-75 shot on a stock 2000 mustang gt. Can the block handel it? Or does it need to be forged? Just want to know whats safe and a little bit more info on N02 for a mustang gt.

+1... you'll be fine. I'm running 100 shot with no problems what so ever. I'm thinking of either A) bumping up the timing a bit or B)Throwing in the 125 jets cuz my car is running really rich.

You are fine running a 100 shot, over 100 and you are approaching the limit. I run a 100 shot without a tune. I did buy colder plugs and a window switch, wot, fuel pressure safety switch. I reccommend getting an Nx kit. Several people on here are running NX and we all love it.

+1, NX is fantastic. Simple to install, works great, and looks awesome, too.

If you run Nx you dont have to adjust timing or get a tune, but you do need colder plugs. It would be safer too, but its not a needed.

I hope you are joking. Option A isn't the greatest I've ever heard of.

Thanks for the responses guys. The nx kit sounds awesome. I will look into some colder plugs. Im selling the system out of the car then I will have some money for the NX kit.
