My dad would approve anything that made more power, unless he's paying for it

That cam is for NPI heads.Itll work in PI heads, but youre better off getting cams specificallydesigned for PI heads. Look at comp XE270AH cams or VTengines stage 2 (prefereably VT).

No problem. The extreme engergy cams that end in AH are for PI heads. Either the XE262AH, XE270AH and XE278AH. The 278s require valve reliefs. VTengines has a good set, without advance timing ground in (like comp does) for an easier install. You sure you want stage 2 cams? With your mods youd see the best street performance with stage 1 cams like VT stage 1 N/A cams and Comp XE262AH cams.

If u get the stage 2 cams u will need some lower gears for your rearend at least 3.73s or lower.U dont have to get gears but it will fill like a dog of the line

The thing with stage 2 cams is your peak power is shifted up in the rpm range, and your bottom end suffers. It may make more peak power than stage 1 cams, but peak power isn't what its all about (which is why Mach1s beat 96-01 Cobras stock vs stock all day long).

Thats why gears are recommended for agressive cams. With the higher rpm power range you take your motor closer to is limits. Forged internals, good valve springs and a quality intake manifold are required to really take advantage of stage 2 and higher cams. The stage 2 heads will work with stage 1 cams though.

Its a lot of money. Keep asking around and see what others recommend.

Yeah, honestly if youre gonna blow 2000 on heads and cams, save another 1500, supercharge it, skip the heads/camsand be done.
