I got the Spec II and love it. Is is very DD and grips good. I also had no problem w/ the TOB but, it is still fairly new though. My car is down so there is only about 800 miles on the clutch right now. There is no chatter and everything is straight.

stage 3 is for like a freakin all out drag car, very few applications NEED one, youll hate yourself for getting a stage 3 if you plan on driving in nice weather or crusing, or god forbid you get stuck in traffic, i gotta a buddie with 450+ rwph 2v and he has NO problem with the stage 2, and its not even much more stiffer than my stage one
+1 bajillion.

You don't know how hard I'm kicking myself for going with it right now. It chatters so bad that I can almost kill the car just slipping the clutch.

How about center force. They hold all kinds of big horse power and are still very smooth and driveable

i'm curious if any of you have actually driven a car with a SPEC stage 3. it's not much stiffer and different from the stock clutch. i don't know what everybody is talking about. when mine got put in, it took me all of 2 launches to get the feel of where it engages, which wasn't that different from stock either. i'd just get a 3 if i were you, it's only a few bucks more. just like a condom, it's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I have mine in right now and I actually find myself finding excuses not to drive so much now. I drove ~30 miles or so last night to get a feel for it and I found myself having to changethe way I drive to slip the clutch very little.A couple times at a stoplight the car almost stalled, but recovered.

alls i can say is WOW. maybe it wasn't installed right? haha. seriously... you can ask trickdriller. i let him sit in it and check it out cause he was asking about clutches and is getting one installed. it wasn't much different that his stock clutch in his 97. it engages at a different point, but it's still hella easy to drive.
