oil problem

Default oil problem

on the oil cap it says 5w-20

but the guy i bought it off of had all the receipts for eveything done to the car. i looked at the oil change because its time to change the oil and its low. but he had 5w-30 put in?

should i put 5w-20 or 5w-30?

had it changed at 24,000

now i have 27,200ish miles

i dont know, id say if it hasnt done anything wrong keep using if u'd like, i wouldn't suggest it though, id stick with 5w-20 but im sure u know, dont mix them

mixing them wont hurt nor will using 5w30, go for it. Just dont go put something like Xw-40 in it, that will be a loud valve train, lol

so ill be fine to throw 5w-30

i mean i am changing the oil and i think the guy i bought it off of had it tuned on 5w-30

so should i switch back to 5w-20 or stay 5w-30

what really is the diffrence in the 20 and 30?

i use 5W-30 and thats what it says to in the manual....but we were working on my friends 03 the other day and on the cap it said 5w20.....so that really confused me....did they change from 30 to 20 in liek 01 maybe? is thee a diff. betweent eh blocks romeo and windsor that it needed to be different?
