Default 97 mustang gt process

well i wanted to know how this works. i bought a new radiator, &a/c condenser and am wondering what type of coolant do i put in there, cus the manual ask for a 50/50 mixture? also, i have never flushed my radiator before but it has been emptied twice. since my accident in aug., all the coolent was released by a broken radiator. does this mean its flushed? just wondering because im dropping in the new radiator this coming up week. thanks for any help.

i dont think its flushed, i just think it got "emptied" thats all. flushing is like when you use like steamed distilled water to clean out the system or something.

dont quote me on that ! [:'(]

not sure hopefully someone can give you better feedback.
i still wanna see your cars in person soon!! gosh and you like close by.

I agree, It just emptied when the radiator was broken, you can run water through the engine and water pump before you install the new radiatorbut it won't be like flushing the system since the engine has to be running at temp for the flush to work right.

I know when we have gotten radiators flushed over the years they flush AND back flush them because it gets the more of the junk out.
As most have said, you just got emptied.
