Default Service Engine Soon????

Hey everyone,
Today I was gettin on my 00' GT preatty hard up until 80mph or so and I pull up to a stop light and the service engine soon lights comes on. . . . What could be the problem? I have mil eliminators for my o/r h pipe and it seems to be running just fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. . . . . Thanks.

Get the code read. No one can help without the code.

Unless the light stays on It will not throw the code, If the light blinks fast it means something, blinks slow, stays on solid so your looking at alot of variables. If you have an AutoZone they will check it for free. Or if you've got a hundred bucks you can drive away with your very own
decoder

These ones actually have a light for the gas cap so check that off your list.

Wrong. Even if the CEL was on for only a second and went off there would be a code.

every time Ive tried to take itand check the codeand my light is off periodiclly they checked it and NO trouble code

No, there will always be a code stored. A crappy code puller is no match for a realscanner. Take it to the dealer and have them read the code.
