The tips of the car dont makeadydifference in the sound the exhaust makes. Its going to sound the same where it had a 3 inch tip, or a 5 inch tip

Much like a guitar, ANYTHING you do to your exhaust will havesome kind of effect on the tone and volume of the note.I highly doubt90% of the population here wouldbe able to tell a difference between 3 and 3.5 inch tips, but 20 years of musical experience made it stick out like a sore thumb to me.
Go with 3.5s. They look better.
+1...........And why ask for Codes help on that? Anyone could have gave you that answer.

Without giving a lesson in acoustics and sound dynamics, I'll put it simply:

RE: mitch, help me please
I really wanted mitch to tell me if the kit tk9635 thatTHR sells is the same as the 1 mac sells at there site. They dont look the same and I wanted to know what the price would be. I would figure that a 3.5in tip would give a deeper sound, same princapal as motorcycles. Am I wrong???
