Default mitch, help me please

Is there any sound dif between a 3in and a 3.5in tip? Im looking at mac tk9635 w/3.5 tips. THR has the kit but it doesnt look like the kit at mac.com. what would be the cost of this kit?

The tips of the car dont makeadydifference in the sound the exhaust makes. Its going to sound the same where it had a 3 inch tip, or a 5 inch tip

unless you have tips like slps they make the exhaust sound alittle different. please correct me if im wrong.

Without giving a lesson in acoustics and sound dynamics, I'll put it simply:

Much like a guitar, ANYTHING you do to your exhaust will havesome kind of effect on the tone and volume of the note.I highly doubt90% of the population here wouldbe able to tell a difference between 3 and 3.5 inch tips, but 20 years of musical experience made it stick out like a sore thumb to me.

Go with 3.5s. They look better.

+1...........And why ask for Codes help on that? Anyone could have gave you that answer.

I really wanted mitch to tell me if the kit tk9635 thatTHR sells is the same as the 1 mac sells at there site. They dont look the same and I wanted to know what the price would be. I would figure that a 3.5in tip would give a deeper sound, same princapal as motorcycles. Am I wrong???
