I need help, my car is going in and out of first gear like it wants to go to second but then it feels like it slips back in to first. its a 96gt auto 82k on the clock. Please helppppppp!!!

 

if anyone has the same trans. that has done this please tell me what you did to fix this.

 

i would just take it to a tranny shop and see what they think

You don't have to be a ***** about it, unless you weren't being sarcastic. That is the best thing to do anyways unless you yourself are a mechanic.

 

I already know i can spend 200 dollars to let some grease monkey tell me what he thinks it may be.
I was just wondering if anyone with the same year and same powertain had same symptoms of what im having and hoping someone could tell me if its something simple that i myself can do. Im a big doityourselfer.

 

have you tryed changeing out your tranny fluid it may help im not sure

yea im not sure if it will help any but it is not real expensive and it would be good for the tranny anyways
