Today i was pulling into a parking spot right before i went to class and i pulled in too fast and too close to the curb and i scratched the crap out of the almost the whole half of the front right rim...Imean you cant tell if your standing 5 feet away but I just have it stuck on my mind and its driving me crazy...Its not the middle of the rimd itself but its like a whole bunch of little chips taken out of the edge of the rim.....

I was just wondering if there was any way i could possibly fix this with like a compound or something....im sure this has happened to some of you so i was hoping for a good answer....please help if you can...thanks...

 

Nope, you are stuck with it that way.

 

Curb rash can DIE. I am deathly afraid of rashing my new rims- I had a close call when I took a turn too tight and run up on a curb doing about 10. Luckily I hit it just right that I ran right up it and only smacked some rubber, scared the crap out of me.

The best thing you can do is grind, sand and maybe some clear coat to "somewhat" mask the damage. It will still be there but maybe it wont be as noticable from a distance.

 

Pretty much order a new rim is what you're stuck with.

 

Depends on how bad it is. There are companies that fix wheels that have been scraped up.
