Question error code po352...

hello all!!..i sure hope one of you guys will give me your opinion on this one ....my 03 3.8 convertible was running really rough last week .on the way home it started running even rougher and the "service engine soon " light came on and then started flashing.by the time i got home it was REALLY running rough. i checked the plug wires (8o,ooo miles on them ) and found one was burned completely thru and was arcing on the exhaust manifold...i knew i should have replaced them long ago. so i bought a new set ,put them on and the car still ran terrible.hmmm?...i put all new plugs in...no difference...fuel filter ...no change...finally i bought a new coil....no change still.a friend then loaned me his actron scanner and i ran the code scan on it 6 different times and keep getting po352...which is ignition coil fault ...i know the coil is good ...its brand new !!...i think i fried the coil driver circuit in the ecm when the plug wire shorted out on the engine....which means i have to now replace the ecm ....what do you guys think..is this a plausible diagnosis??any suggestions would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED !!! i have tried and checked everything i can think of ....HELP!

Sounds like failure to perform basic maintenance.

The reason I suggested timing is that it's easy to check. He already replaced the coil and wires and the car still runs bad. Maybe jumped timing???? What do you think it is????

Angry po352...update....read this ...u might learn something!!

ok, heres the skinny for u ....when a scanner gives u a code po350 thru po362, that means the coil is not receiving the proper firing directions from the ecm (pcm). when ever u get a code po350 thru po362 (assuming a 12 cylinder engine) it means the coil driver circuit in my pcm was indeed fried. so ,yes it was definately a maintenance issue, which i did admit in my first post. so the smart *** answers dont surprise me from someone who is barely literate.....if thats your normal input on an issue...keep it to urself...all it does is alienate people.........SOON TO BE FORMER MEMBER OF THIS SITE!!
