Default Tie rods......

If the tie rod thats connecting to the pivot point on your wheel is lose (the stud lost its nut backing and the thread is worn to the point where you can't put another nut on)but is still set in place............. Do yall consider this a "deadline" vehicle or shouldn't be driving till its fixed? Or can it still drive as long as your soft with it?

Yea. I'm hesitante to take it to a dealer because I know its going to be over 300 for this little job..... They are going to buy the basic OEM part, and then the labor, then they'll throw in an Alignement in there..... I wish I would have went to ITT tech..... :-(

I wouldn't really worry about it, I mean the worst that will happen is that you'll only be able to steer with one wheel.
But, yeah, I would get that fixed asap. I would consider itdangerous to drive it like that.

well i thought i busted it up but in the end i only blew up 2 tires, scratched front bumperand damaged my crappy stock rims [:'(]
At the same time i just bought a new 01 cobra front end that needs to be painted, tonight or tomorrow night ordering my full front coil over kit and end up not needed the tie rods (seem to be fine, might upgrade in the future...)
Yeah my friend just lost control of his last night and f**** his front end up..damn water!! "shakes fists at sky" [sm=violent053.gif] (rain)
