I know I seems like a noob question but I am not very farmiliar with boost. (but I want to be)

Is anyone running a mongoose kit w/o an intercooler. Because, correct me if I am wrong, they are not included in the $3900. Is there any real benefit other than about 50 hp.

im runnin it w/o the ic at the moment! with full bolts ons and 10 psi i made 398 i believe.....i luv my kit. eventually ima get the i/c but at the time i couldnt afford it. if you got the money i say go for it. but if not it definitely wont hurt anything.

 

I was looking at running 8 psi and trying to get between 350-375 rwhp

 

One more question about the kit, where do you tap the oil pan, because my car is lowered, and I have scraped the oil pan along with my cats a couple of times and if you have to tap the bottom of the pan I could see that as being problematic at some point in the future.

 

if you do that and add a powerpipe 375 is very doable!!! the only thing is youll need bolts ons to see those numbers. otherwise youll most likely see more like 350ish
