MAC LT's & Fast Toys
I'm going to be buying my MAC LT's and O/R H-pipe tomorrow from Fast Toys Performance. Has anyone dealt with Fast Toys before? How was it? Also, any advice before me and my cousin start installing these LT's on my car?

RE: MAC LT's & Fast Toys
I bought my exhaust for my 97 from them. They were by far the best online shop I've ever dealt with. I would definitely recommend them. I actually wouldn't mind putting LTs on my Cobra eventually and I'll probably go with them again.
As for install, the only thing to really say is that if you have access to a hoist, it's a hell of a lot easier if you can lift the engine up just a few inches.

Well I ordered them today. Ceramic coated LT's with O/R H-pipe. LT's are on order and should be ready to ship by the end of the week. How envolved is the process of taking out the K-member? My friend and I are somewhat mechanically inclined. I've helped him with a couple projects on the LS1 firebird he used to have. My stang is a DD so I only have a couple days at most to do this install. I'm just worried about getting itdone in time.

RE: MAC LT's & Fast Toys
Finished the install today. For anyone wanting to install headers... It took my cousin, my dad, and me one full day (8:30 - 6:00) plus a couple hours the next day (about 11-12 hrs total). My cousin had a firebird he worked on all the time, and my dad used to own classic muscle cars, so we were mechanically inclined. It would've taken about 8-10 hours if we didn't run into our only real problem. It came when we tried to re-install the coil springs after putting the k-member back on. It took some real ingenuity to get them back in. Everything is working fine and the stang sounds incredible. Set up is: MAC L/T's, MAC O/R H-pipe, and stock cat-back with Sweet-thunder mufflers. If anyone wants to know, we think it would be almost impossible to get headers on with out taking out the k-member. If anyone wants any more info from my experience putting these things on let me know. To sum it up...it is a huge pain to do, but well worth it.
