Saw this on the street, what happened?
I was driving to work today, and saw a tow truck, a dynamometer in the street, surrounded with yellow cones, and a fox running on it, and behind him was two highway patrol cars, what would be a reason for that? car not street legal or???

yeah thats stupid.. i think people make up these cali regs on the internet... and those videos of cops busting them for lowered cars and stuff is all BS, as long as its within a DOT aproved spec for any model of car sold in that state - tell them to sit on it and rotate

Actually, it was probably to to see if the fox passed the smelly test. You know how ridiculous Cali's pollution laws are. Those bastards did that near my gf's house one time. But where she lives they don't have much better to do.

Every aftermarket part that goes on the car in cali has to have a goverment issued number showing it is street legal. They also have the ablity to pull you over, and do exactly what they are talking about., that is setup a dyno and do a sniffer test under a load. You fail, you get a ticket and have to fix the car, period.
