had them for about year and a half now
Thanks, for your posts 99Gt. Did you see some nice gains, and or are you happy with your bbk LT's?

Thanks,
Yea i really like mine.If u do the lt headers and o/r mid pipe at the same time like i did.It made a big diff and i was stock when i put them on.I had a freind with a 99 cobra that would beat me by a good 3 or 4+ car lengths and after i put them on i was at his back bumper most of the time

I've had my BBK LT's on my car for about 2 years now and I have not have a single problem with them. I loved the gain I got with them. I did have to buy the short mid-pipe, but it was all worth it! And working on one is no harder than working on one with stock exhaust. You just have to lower the K-member to get the trans out<----not a big deal.

is ANYONE going to tell this guy LT's fail visual emmissions check??

shorties are your only option if you live somewhere strict when it comes to vehicle emmission testing. same with catted midpipes (if they do the sniffer)

He's right! LT's are not street legal although a lot also depends on if they do visual inspections in your area. If you're still dead set on LT's I would call Fast Toys and order theCeracmic coatedMAC LT's and Prochamber mid. Their having a sale right now for the LT's at $360 and the mid's at $209. That is a KILLER price!

My opinion: midlength and shorties aren't worth the trouble. They don't have very good power gains. Go with LT's. I'm expecting 20+ rwhp going from stock exhaust to LT's and O/R H-pipe on my car. Mid's and shorties might give you 4-5 rwhp from what I've read.
I can't see midlenghts giving only 4-5 rwhp. Anyone have a dyno graph handy?

ive had bbk long tubes sincejune of 04 and no problems yet. they work real nice and i have pulled the motor and tranny a couple times without really any problems... you are able to get the starter out without taking the long tube off. you just need a long extension and it will work nicely.

long tubes are only not street legal in california... all other states they are when you go with the catted mid pipe
