Default Mac vs Flowmaster

I think I like the chambered muff sound best and I'm planning on getting an o/r H and trying to decide between mac and flowmaster. they both are priced good so that doesn't matter. does one sound louder or beastier than the other? does one sound better at certain rpm range? is there any difference at all? thanks for any input.

P.S. how much does 3.73s throw off the speedometer?

Iv heard both side by side a million times, i liked mac better. pluss they make a SS system

IMO the only midpipe Flows sound good with also is the h pipe so your limited in your selection.

i have an x pipe with macs and it sounds great, with flows it would sound like doo doo lol

I doubt anyone could tell the difference betweenthe two sounds in a blind taste test, but everyone will tell you to get what they have. I have Flows.....

You speedo will be off by 13%

exhaust is all about personal preference... some people like loud.. some people like loud and deep or somewhat toned down but still deep. its a personal choice just like sex.

Honestly they both sound great.

Hoss had no rasp in his vid. I have flows and an X pipe and there is a slight rasp but i like it.

Usually it seems like Flows is a little 'bubblier' and i think they are a TINY bit deeper.

I honestly like the Macs better and i will probably switch to them in the future. The Macs are a bit louder i think and they scream alot more at high rpms!

Once again they are both great lol.

There is a distinct sound of Flows that you can tell MAC does NOT have.
I had a MAC catback with a catted x-pipe and sounds sick. You cannot go wrong with Mac when choosing a midpipe... h/x/prochamber.
Lots of people claim Mac is louder than Flows but what I have come to realize is that Mac's stuff is also much cleaner sounding than Flows, overall.

Listen to some clips and find out what YOU like.

Oh and MAC does have a stainless system... which is a huge plus

Both sound great! I have the Prochamber with MAC catback and my buddy has Prochamber with Flowmaster 30 catback and they sound pretty similiar. Mine has more bite, and sounds more aggressive under loud, but his deeper and has more of a tinny sound. The deciding factor for me was that the MAC products are stainless steel, which is what I wanted.

Wish I could find a prochamber that is stainlessfor the longtubes [:'(]

...that will be coming friday [8D]

Hell... I'd love a stainless h-pipe for longtubes but the only h-pipe I have ever seen that's stainless is MRT and those aren't for longtubes.
I'm attempting to get as deep, grumpy, cranky, and evil sounding as possible.
