new short block?

You would be better off getting a used PI engine. You could get the new shortblock, but I've seen these really up there in price and I think the popular opinion around here is the PI engines can be had for next to nothing. That would probably be your best bet. AND, you could sell your PI heads, cams and intake to someone that has the non PI engines.
