Default whatwould u get first

well i am getting a sct xcal and some 4.10's .... which would you get first .... would my car run ok with 4.10's first for about 3 weeks untill i got the xcal . Also I am ordering my xcal from THR or Brenspeed , which ever people think is better so they can custom load a tune for me. Also i had 1 guy tell me when i get the 4.10's installed to drive it easy for 500 miles and then bring it back to shop to rechange oil out and then i can get on in hard and i had another guy tell me i can get on it hard as soon as i install the gears. Has anyone ever herad of taking it easy for 500 miles after 4.10 install to let gears settle or whatever hes talking about, sounds like it makes since but i dunno. Also is it worth it to get the complete gear kit with all the bearings and what not or just the ring and pinion. Any suggections i would appreciate alot.

youll be okay with the 4.10s 1st, the only reason a tune is needed is to fix the speedo, and yes take it easy on em for 500 mi

It will be fine to install the gears first. I just would not drive it much because it is going to run up the miles on your odometer fast until you get it corrected.
