Default Another Tire question!

I have 10"wheels for the back. I want to put on a 315 tire. BF Goodrich site says the 315 is rated for 11-12" wide wheel, and 295's are biggest for a 10" wheel. I'm right on the edge of flirtation with this, what should I do? I drive hard and don't wanna burn the inside of the tire out premature even though have owned my car 2 years and have put less than 3kmi on it!

yes but, the 315's are only $420 shipped to my door. They don't have the 305's or else I would. It's because 305's are more common!

I know they'll fit fine on a 17" wheel but im not sure about an 18" wheel! I remember a guy at tirerack tellin me that it more dangerous because of the extra rotating mass and the fact that you're adding an inch all around!

i dont know what that has to do with fitting the tire on the rim but think about this:

nitto recomends a 10" wheel for there 315 and ive seen more people runnin em on 9" wheels than 10"s. just an example but hopefully it makes sense. the company has to recomend a bigger wheel because of liability issues but im pretty positive they will fit with no issues whatsoever
