Default What is the best way to wheel out a car?

Sup guys,

What is the best way to wheel out a car? I just bought a 6" craftsman polisher/wheel, and I want to know what products to use.

I've heard the 3 step Meguiers paint cleaner, polish, wax system is good, but do i really need all that?

Can i just apply turtle wax to the wheel and do the whole car in 1 step?

um you should take it back and get a porter cable buffer you take no chance at burning your paint that way and go to the detailing section

Don't use anything but an orbital polisher.A rotating wheel is just a destroyed paint job waiting to be plugged in.
My Dad worked as a body repair man for 42 years and even he left swirl marks sometimes.
If you just need to clean the paint I'd go for a claybar treatment.I always figured these things were snake oil until I used one.
Then use ultra fine 3M rubbing compound if the paint's badly oxidized.
Remember, once it's rubbed off it can't be put back on.

the 3 step is totally worth it, and dont use turtle wax, its very hard to remove. And if you dont know what your doing it'll swirl like a beast. Your going to get swirls if you use too much wax. Just so you know. I used to detail for a dealership and a carwash and Meguiers is what I used and it'll make any paint look good.

I'd use 3M ultra fine rubbing compound and a variable speed orbital polisher with a microfiber or100% cotton terrycloth bonnet.A foam pad can be used as well.Lambs wool is a cutting type bonnet and removes too much material.
Remember!!!! You can't put it back once it's been rubbed off.
I would go to a custom paint shop or to a professional paintsupply store. The guys there just love to sell you things and to show you how smart they are. They also know paint! Ask them what they recommend, also bring $$$$$$.

+1 on the orbital polisher, you can really burn a paint job in a second with thatstraight wheel.
Check out this guy http://www.properautocare.com/index.htmlgreat products and real know how on detailing. The clay bar is one of the best ways to get a ultra shine. Good Luck......
