Few hundred pounds of sand or whatever in the trunk never hurts.

Make sure your tires have a good amount of tread.

Go slow.

+1 on the sand bags. i put around 4 bags in weighing 70 lbs a piece. it wont prevent you from getting stuck....but it will help out

I haven't put sand bags in my car before, but it sounds like a good idea. I've nearly got stuck on a hill once or twice last winter in stop and go traffic. There was snow on the road and the hill was steep enough to ensure I didn't get hardly any traction. Weight in the back would have helped. I guess do that and remember to BE CAREFUL! Just pay attention to the road and other drivers. It's the best you can do.

I'll pray for you. I couldn't even imagine. Mines going in the garage beginning of November and out comes the Monte Carlo SS. Yeaaaaaaah! Hahah I can't even imagine driving a mustang in the snow. Just the other day when it was raining, I pull up to the toll booth (it's dry under there) and took off nice and slow at around 2,000rpms....and as soon as my tires hit the wet road again I was spinning....at like 2,000rpms! Wtf?!
