according to Edmunds... a 99 GT has Fuel Tank Capacity: 15.7 gal.

and umm yeah he has stock gear ratios :] we found that out awhile ago. when he did the test to figure out if his mechanic was right that told him he had 4.10's when his rpms weren't matching to that of a 4.10's

its not magic, just smart driving I get around 25 mpg and I have 4.10's... I got 32 mpg before mods, the trick for me is cruising at 2400 rpms, thats the sweet spot

It used about 6 gallons. I said a little more than a quarter tank....probably like 3/8 of a tank...around 6 gallons.

It stayed at FULL for about halfway there, then started to drop, but not drastically. More like at a steady rate, to about 5/8 of a tank.

I thought I had 4.10's....this retarded mechanic said I had them, so I took his word for it. [:@][:@][:@]But it looks like I have stock gears now. I have to change my sig...I know.

LOL The Magic gas thing got my thinking...I filled up with 91 octane (I ONLY use 87), because the track pumps only went from 91 to 110 octane. I used about 3/4 tank of the 91, then filled up the rest with 87 and headed home. Maybe the 91 cleaned out my motor? Or the mixture gave me high mpg's?

I dunno, butI'm enjoying this tank while it lasts.

maybe when you was at the track you floored it and your car couldnt use up all the fuel and your car has a special reserve for highway driving!!!
