i have the same conbo, but i have the 70mm instead of 75mm. i had mine installed by someone cause im a retard, but also had it dyno tuned at the same time and picked up around 7rwhp. u could easily install it yourself tho.
Why did you decide to go with the 70mm? How much was it to get installed and how much was the dyno tune?

i have the 75mm Accufab TB/Plenum but i got it because of the better throttle response i got and you definitely do not feel any hp in the but dyno[&:] but there is a very slight hp increases on N/A cars. i also have a JLT CAI and i love it.

you do not need a dynotune after you get any bolt on put on.... and its totally not worth it unless you "need" it like pi swapped cars to utilize the whole bump in compression and higher octane you use to prevent knock/ping. or a supercharger. to me its not worth getting it dynotuned for $500 bucks or whatever it is in your area, just after you get a tb/plenum.

If I went with the tb/plenum combo would it be wise on my part to save the money and not get the CAI and instead get a short throw?

Did you get a tune? and how much did it run ya.......
I got it tuned a week after it was installed, but with other mods installed at that time as well. My dyno tune from Lidio cost me about 425 bucks since I have a SCT XCal 2 handheld, he could just upload the tune into that instead of burning a chip. Without it, the dyno tune would have cost me 500 bucks.

Forget the CAI, the stock intake is a CAI and a not half-bad one at that. As for the TB & plenum, I'd buy a handheld tuner before bothering with any intake mods (open up the exhaust first, if you haven't already). A handheld and a premium fuel tune (93 if you can get it) and the stock intake willprovide more power increase (still not a lot, but more) than an aftermarketTB/plenum with the OEM tune--and allow you to dial in even more when you do do some intake mods...

+1 except for the tune thing. Every car seems to react a bit differently to bolton mods, some will be fine with the tune and others will be way off with the same parts. The only way to know is to get on a dyno, and check the WHP and a/f ratio numbers and see what it looks like.

i picked up about 15RWHP with my 75mm TB/Plenum combo so i'd say it's worth the money, CAI will give a tad bit also

If I got a handheld tuner I would still have no idea how to use the sucker....
