Default radiator question

i replaced my radiator on the stang and the stock one obviously comes with a filler neck. well the new one i ordered came without a filler neck. have the radiators been redesigned or something? i talked to the customer service rep and he told me that when he typed in all the information and that was the only part that came up for a 96 GT 4.6L SOHC. so im confused. were they redesigned or did they mess up? i got it from radiators.com.

pretty wierd. i had a filler neck on my radiator. me and the customer service rep came to the conclusion that whoever owned the car before me used the radiator out of another stang possibly a V6. well then i guess everything checks up so i wont worry about any problems with the new radiator. i guess i now have the right one! lol.

I know it's probably to late but I hope you didn't put another 96 GT rad in your car. It's very well documented that the 96 Rad's are terrible. Most people upgrade to a 97 or up as soon as they can
