Default Recommended size??

Right now I have saleen style wheels (18's) and I m going to get the bullet style deep wheels instead. Just curious on what size would look/be better. I like having a stocker look while having a ton or upgrades under the hood. would it look dump putting 17's in the front and buy 18's deep rear etc??? just want opinions before I order em up in a day of so. Thanks!

personally i wouldn't spend extra money just so it would look closer to the average mustang as in your going from saleens to bullits...

i would keep the saleens since they are badass wheels :] and spend the money you would've spent on the rims / tires and use it towards something worth it like a NX Shot, Heads, Cams, etc...

17's do look noticeablysmaller. Going from Saleen style where the spoke go right to the rubber make the rim size look larger all together. The bullitts will look smaller because they don't have that false size appearance like the Saleen's. However I have 18's. They look nice, but they ride so much rougher than 17's and the rubber is almost double the price!

Try some 17x9 up front and 17x10 in the back and lower the car. I kinda wish I had done that, but I do like the way the car handles with the big meat all the way around.
