Got some new track times
I ran5 times before I left.
These are my 2 best times;
14.135 @98.79 with a 2.101 60'
My best time was;
14.116 @ 99.33 with a 2.115 60'
I ran 5 times and could not get my 60ft better than 2.1
My rear tires are bald so maybe that has something to do with it.
Any advice?????
The other runs were 14.3s
My apologies, I have edited my thread about 7 times. I had a few drinks before I came home .

Well I had to learn it the hard way, but I DO NOT race on street tires. If you are just going out there to race and get GOOD times, and run your car to it's potential, street tires couldn't be any more useless.

not to rag on you or nothin but i had wires showin on my old tires and still pulled a 1.9 60 ft with my blower at 10 psi. and that was at drivin psi i believe 40-45 or s.
my buddy taught me how to launch, dont dump the clutch! feather the clutch while gettin in the gas gradually.....youll get it though. just practice!with your mods you should be in the 13s!!!!

Even with that 60' though, he shoudl be into the 13's with a higher trap.
Again, like someone else said , but in more correct terms, I'd say that your shifting needs some work.
It's not like it's anything special though, everyone goes out a few times before they run anything near what they are capable of.
Hell, I've been 4 times with no additional mods and gone from 14.545@99 to 13.78@100.8
The 60' on the first was a 2.22 and the best was only a 2.02.... 60's play alot, but so does shifting/experiance with the car

Well, it is all about where you are running at also. it is not just the car, but it could be the track, elevation, weather, and humidity. I ran my best times by spinning and pulling, where you spin but not to much as to where you keep the car pulling and never let off the gas while you are racing feather the gas, you got to play around with your foot.
